These songs rule, but fuck SideOneDummy. They used to be so cool but now they're seriously the shittiest, and they totally know it too. They (I think his name is Joe?) fired two of their hardest working employees on New Year's Day of 2018, and they went from charging under $10 for shipping from California to Idaho (NOT THAT FAR!!) to now charging at least $40 for shipping from California to Idaho for LITERALLY ONE LP. Total crock of shit. and if you look at the plain ass text on the spine and back of the record, you can tell just how amateur and "not give a fuck" they were about throwing this whole thing together. The art that was put together by the band (maybe just Sean if I can guess) looks awesome, like the tracklisting and the collage on the cover, but the giant barcode to try and be funny (but is really just over done and ugly) and the plain black Arial font showing the mastering and cover credits and the descriptions for each song are just so effortless and boring looking. This release really really just looks like shit in a lot of ways and it was so overpriced to buy a copy from them I bit the bullet and bought it from a flipper for a little more than the store sells it for because even then I'm giving a flipper $28 instead of giving S1D $20 for a record (all the records I've ever ordered from them in the past seem to get the everliving shit beat out of them too) and then another $40 for shipping to fucking IDAHO. Lame as fuck. Great music, shit label.
